Aspire Furniture is a unique manufacturer, wholesaler and retailer specialising in the furniture industry. From its humble beginnings in 2013 the business has gone from strength to strength enjoying constant growth year after year. Having enjoyed success in the wholesaling of products they went on to develop their own manufacturing facility based in Barnsley.

This is very much a family business with a lively distinctive diverse culture.  The company fosters a loyal and stable workforce influenced by the vision, style and values of its founder.  Due to the continued growth and expected seasonal increase in orders, we are looking for a special person to support the already established Customer Service Department.  This is a permanent position.

The Role

As a Customer Service Administrator for Aspire Furniture you will play a key role within the team  supporting the working together to respond to order queries, as well as complex delivery issues.  These queries and tasks are generated from a wide spectrum of platforms, from direct Aspire customers to various Retailers and also from the Retails Customers over the phone and via email.

You will be trained to  navigate the various applications and portals processing responses and administering to the various requests and actions required.  As part of this role you will also be expected to muck in and help out in the other general office admin tasks as and where needed.

Once the successful candidate has passed their probation of 3 months the salary is increased accordingly.

The Person

To be considered for this position:

  • You must have had a background in Customer Services however, this does not necessarily need to be within a Manufacturing/ Retail industry or have a background in Beds/ Mattresses.


  • We are looking for a person who has a mature common sense approach and attitude to work.



  • A solutions driven person who looks for how to make things work rather than dwelling on how this have not worked.


  • A positive glass half full mentality with a realistic expectation of how new businesses can sometimes work. Whilst Aspire is a rapidly growing business it is still very early in its evolutionary journey, therefore there are always changes and improvements going on and things don’t always go to plan.



  • The successful candidate should be just as comfortable working on their own initiative as well as working within a close nit team.


  • Someone with a passion for providing excellent customer service.



  • Someone with good clear oral and written communication skills and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
